Each academic year, the Aristotle University grants a number of Scholarships to
- foreign nationals and resident aliens, both of non-Greek descent, for undergraduate or postgraduate studies in any of its Schools
- foreign undergraduate and postgraduate students of Universities abroad, for attending the Summer Intensive Course of the School of Modern Greek Language
- foreign nationals of Greek descent from Albania, Moldova, Romania, Hungary and Czech Republic, for attending the Summer Intensive Course and the Winter Course of the School of Modern Greek Language
- foreign undergraduate and postgraduate students of Universities abroad, in the frame of Inter-University Agreements of Scientific Cooperation, for attending the Summer Intensive Course of the School of Modern Greek Language
- foreign graduates of Modern Greek Studies Departments of South-Eastern European Universities, for postgraduate studies or research
- foreign postgraduate students or young researchers, for up to three (3) months research in the field of Humanities, and particularly in the Schools of the Faculties of Philosophy, Law, Economic & Political Sciences, Education, Arts, and the School of Architecture (Faculty of Engineering)
